Charlie Thomas' Drifters
Charlie Thomas is a rhythm and blues singer who has performed with The Drifters for over 50 years. Charlie was the lead singer on two of the group's Top 40 hits, "Sweets For My Sweet," and "When My Little Girl Is Smiling."

Charlie's vocal skills have earned him entry into such prestigious organizations as the 1988 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the 1988 and 2000 Vocal Group Hall of Fame Museum. He also received the 1999 Pioneer Award from the Rhythm & Blues Foundation.

Thanks to Charlie, The Drifters' vocalizations have produced a sound that continues to be appreciated by fans around the globe. He leads his own group, which now consists of hand-picked fellow members Louis Bailey, Stephen Brown, and James Manning. The Drifters have been called the "all-time greatest Atlantic recording group." Charlie easily provides the smooth-as-silk vocal approach that mesmerizes his audiences around the world, keeping that description alive.
